Hi ladies!!! I'm exhausted it has been a CRAZY work week so far, and it isn't even half over...YIKES!
Ok, for all of you have joined the book club...I just posted a thread on how books will be selected...I'm also going to paste it here... (****Anyone still interested in joining, FM me your e-mail address and I will send you an invite***)
Ok so I have done a little research on how online book clubs fairly pick their next book. Here is what I have found to be most common...
1. A thread will be posted where everyone can make a recommendation for next month's book (only one per person)
2. In a word document, I will list the books, and assign each a number in the order they are recommended
3. The website random.org will pick 3 books and a poll will be set up for all members to vote on them
4. The vote will be done before the end of the month (at least a week), so everyone will have time to obtain the upcoming book in time for the following month
Example of an ideal time line...
-Weeks 1 & 2 of the month...member recommendations posted -Week 3...polling -Beginning of Week 4...upcoming book results will be announced
I hope this works for everyone! We can always make adjustments if we need too! I'm open to suggestions!

Re: Book selection
I just finished reading Safe Haven!
What a great book choice! I started it last night because I was bored watching the superbowl and then I read another hour at the gym today and even was reading throughout Gossip Girl. I could not put it down!!!
Whats the next step with the book club? We go over it online?

Re: Book selection
When should we have the book finished by? I am going to Florida the 24th until the 28th so I was thinking hopefully I will be laying by the pool reading!

Re: Book selection
There isn't really a deadline, just that we will 'officially' start the next book in March. The discussion will be ongoing in the threads...very casual, NO pressure at all! I don't want anyone stressing out over this, it is supposed to be fun and carefree! No one will be judged for not reading their book by Feb 28th, I promise!!! So happy everyone is enjoying the book, it was definitely a great one to start with! :)
