I just came back from making a payment on my honeymoon which I booked in December and the travel agent told me that if I would have bought them today - it would have been $500 dollars more!! Plane ticket prices are really increasing. Thank goodness we did it already. So book it at least 8-12 months in advance...

This is definitely true! Altho we've already booked our HM we've been trying to get plane tix for our July trip to New Orleans -usally no more than $250/RT - now almost $500. Thought the prices would decrease cuz of the war but . . . guess the airlines are getting hit real hard.

I am going on my HM 11 months from today, I am going tonight because they can start booking 11 months from date of travel. I noticed that the price went up $600 last year because I was tracking it almost daily.

interesting, i haven't booked mine yet, getting married in sept., but i keep checking the flight we want on united and it keeps going down, over $300 so far. but maybe that's b/c they're going out of business soon probably
