Well I should say blocked actually. We have 15 rooms set aside at the Glen Cove Mansion! We actually got a much better rate than I thought we would get anywhere so I’m super excited!! (I say “we” but FH is actually the one who made all the calls. )
AND FH finally went and picked up his baptism certificate… so we just have to get our letter for the church notarized and we’re good to go.

I still have to do this too. Not quite sure what I have to do though. Do you have to guarantee that those rooms will be booked in order to block them off?

We called one hotel that was going to hold us responsible for 80% of the rooms… so even if we didn’t fill them we’d still have to pay for them.
At GC Mansion we have 15 rooms saved but if they’re not filled they just get released a month before the wedding. They have a wedding block rate, but since they’re one of Swan Club’s vendors we got another discount on top of that. But we didn’t have to pay anything, so yay for that!

Really? I don't know, FH did all the phone calls... he spoke with Dina. I just faxed the contract over to them like 5 mins ago.
