Booked florist and honeymoon

Booked florist and honeymoon

I'm so productive when I'm not working. LOL

So I booked with a florist. I still don't know what sort of centerpieces I want. I think my ultimate preference would be a silver or gold (probably silver) pedestal with bluebird and attache roses (or blue curiosa) and possibly ivory colored roses and wax flowers and alstromeria and ivy and greenery. I saw the glass pedestal and it's nice but I want something that the votives will refect off of and I think the silver would do that better. However I'm also still considering a revere bowl but the sort of arrangement I want won't really work in that type of bowl. Ugh. Then Jenny2Penny posted those awesome pictures last night and I love the ones that are the candlesticks with the floating candles on top. I checked the website and it's Illuminations but I don't see them there. I'd almost be willing to do that with a wreath of some of the flowers I want above. I really love the bluebird roses and I know whatever I do I'll have those. As far as my bo-k, we're good on that and not too good on the girl's bo-kays since some of the stuff she put in the sample I turned out not liking but I found a pic last night I like so when I go back again closer to the wedding we'll finalize all that.

As for honeymoon - at least that was less stressful picking out! LOL We're flying into Maui and staying for 6 nights. Then going to Kauai and staying 4 nights. Then going to Oahu and staying 1 night and during the day we'll see the USS Arizona and the Pearl Harbor tour and then we leave the next evening to fly home. We're staying at the Hyatt on both islands and the Outrigger Resort for the 1 night on Oahu. I'm pretty pleased that we were able to book it with relative stress! My travel agent was wonderful - actually FH picked her out and she is in the neighborhood and really worked on getting us the best deals.

Whew! So happy those are done!

Jenny

This is what I had in mind, yet in a glass pedestal that is not more than 5' from the table, in bluebird and attache roses and altromeria> I can't find a pedestal that is that height on the net, though.

These are the candlesticks that I really like but can't find them on Illuminations website

Congrats...it's a great feeling to mark things off the list.

Did you check Yankee Candle for those? They may have something similar...

Those are some beautiful pics!

I am going to have all bluebird roses and waxflower in my bouquet and that combined with alstromeria for my MOH. Here are the pics that I found. Thought you might like to see the combination.

Jenny how do you find these pictures?!? They are great. I like some of them that you have posted. I am going to copy and print them out and bring with me to the florist. Maybe I'll go 1 month beforehand just to show her and see if we can come up with something. I really don't like low (right on the table) centerpieces - unless it's combined with candles (God I'm so picky) and both FH and I are not big fans of the high centerpieces (they are nice but for the price and the amount of tables we'll be having, it's not in our budget).

You are the best. Thanks!
Mary
