Booked half of our honeymoon! And got a great airfare!!
We finally booked our honeymoon!! Well half of it. We're going to St. Lucia. Booked 4 nights at Sandals Grande and we're planning to book 3 nights at the Jalousie Plantation.
The most amazing thing was airfare. Months ago I asked my friend who is from St. Lucia about reasonable fares. At the time we were getting quotes for $800 round trip for two people. She said that was a great fare and I should jump on it. Being the indecisive woman that I am, I didn't. Fast forward a few months and I still hadn't booked. Then suddenly all the non stop flights were gone and all that was left were massive lay overs or multiple connections. I hate flying so I NEED non stop or at least a very short lay over. In addition, the fares jumped to $1200!! I cried...no really I did...and I don't cry over things like this. I could have strangled myself![]()
Then on Sunday while searching/sulking on Orbitz I found a non stop morning flight for $766!!!!! Even lower than the $800 I'd been longing for!![]()
