Booked honeymoon!

We finally booked our honeymoon today! Well, at least we put down our deposit. We are going to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora for a total of 11 nights. We are so excited. It looks beautiful.

I'd love to go there, I took a little quiz to find the perfect honeymoon and it said that Tahiti is the place for me, I dont think we'll be able to afford it though, mind me asking how much you are paying.

I'm going to the same places!! I'm so excited. Where are you staying on each island? I'm staying at Le Meridien on Tahiti, the Pearl Resort on Bora Bora (in the beach jacuzzi suite), and the Sheraton on Moorea in an overwater bungalow. Who did you book through? I went through Liberty. I'm so excited, I can't wait!!!

Congrats! Tahiti is beautiful. I would love to go there myself but my FH does not like to fly, so I can imagine getting him on a plane for that long!

I'm sure you will love it there.

Tracy ann,

When are you going and if you don't mind telling me how much is it costing you?

Re: Booked honeymoon!

I'm leaving on September 22 and coming home on October 6. The package is costing just over $9000. Even though it's expensive we'll be away for 12 nights and we have top notch accomodations and a bunch of tours included.

Re: Booked honeymoon!

we are leaving nov. 17, the morning after the wedding. we are using our delta miles to fly to LA first class, for free! that is sooooo great. it also saved us $. we are going for 11 nights and it is going to be about $5100 for the 2 of us, but that doesn't include meals or any tours. we are staying at the sofitel maeva in tahiti, the fare vai moana in moorea, and the top dive in bora bora. we might change it to another package though where it would be the beachcomber in tahiti, and then the pearl and the beachcomber in moorea.

how did you get your vacation to tahiti for 5100? are you staying in any overwater bungalows?

I'm very jealous of you guys. I don't think I could ever get FH (tall) to sit on a plane for that long. After we went to Hawaii he said never again would he do a plane trip like that

He'll just have to make enough that we can go first class

Re: Booked honeymoon!

Actually, my mistake. Its going to be about $4250 for the 2 of us. Cheaper than $5100! We have 5 of the 11 nights in an overwater bungalow, 4 nights in a beach bungalow, and 2 in a garden bungalow. It took a lot of work to get info and track down the best deal. There are places that are a lot more expensive, but I think that going to Tahiti, I could stay in a cardboard box and would love it. Even the places with lower prices look fantastic. I can't wait to do a whole lot of nothing with my sweetie.

I am so happy to see so many people going to Tahiti. We are actually going to the same three Islands we leave November 3, and come back the 13. I can't wait! Congratualtions and good luck to all.
