Hawaii
I am paying more than $5,000. I can give you some info and I guess you can decide... I think coach airfare is about $750pp. If you want to go to more than one island that will be additional airfare costs. There are many hotels other than the ones I am going to and all have different price ranges. (I have heard good things about the Sheridans.) Shop around. Also, it depends how long you want to stay in Hawaii. Rooms in some of the top hotels can be up to $300/night. I also hear food and activities are quite expensive so depending on your taste you will have to factor that into your budget. Good Luck...

bridetobe - We're flying the same day!
What a coincidence!!! We're flying out ON Delta on 10/28 at 8:00 am. Which airline are you flying on? I know Delta only has 2 or three flights that day. :)

Hawaii - Tarakinspa
At the Grand Wailea in Maui for 10 nights we are paying 4,240 for a garden room this includes jeep rental the entire time and breakfast every morning. Also all the taxes are already included. We are hoping to get an upgrade when we are there. This is just for the hotel though. It doesn't include air, dinner, lunch, excursions, etc. Thankfully we both got the First Class round trip for free with our sky miles (saved us over $5,000). I budgeted $7,500 for our honeymoon but again it doesn't include air. There are many beautiful hotels though which are very beautiful and not as costly. Good luck! :)

That is too funny. I just recently posted my picture in my profile...look for us! Angie3-I am flying American so we aren't flying together. We also booked a garden room and are hoping for the same upgrade...hopefully we will both get them.

upgrades?
Why do you think you'll be upgraded because its your honeymoon? dont they already know that? Is it common to get upgrades on honeymoons?

upgrades?
It goes on a first come first serve basis and yes, honeymooners are often comped/upgraded. Your travel agent should put the request in for you one week prior to your arrival.Welcome New Vendors
