I had my MOHs babys christening today and i met the pastor. He is so nice! he put us down and said he would love to do our wedding!!! We are making an appointment this week to meet with him so we can get to know eachother!! I am so excited!!! now all we have to do is book DJ and all our vendors are booked!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's kind of a long story, but to sum it up...we didn't belong to the parish, so we joined in January. They told me I would have to be a member for 3 months before even finding out if our date was available. I've stopped by the rectory twice and called three times and no one EVER gets back to me. I need to know what is going on like NOW...lol we only have 9 months and I REALLY want to get married in church. Worst case scenario, we'll have to go back to the church I grew up going to in Queens ( not that I mind, but the wedding is in Feb, so the weather is totally unpredictable)...so that's our story in a nutshell
