Booked My DJ!

(Let me start off by saying I am a real bride and I have the empty bank account to prove it and NO I do not work for a DJ company...LOL)

Well after visiting several DJs mentioned on this site (Thanks Girls for all the recommendations!!!) my FI and I choose to go with Music By Michael.

We were really impressed with his enthusiam for his profession, his technical expertise, his professionalism and most of all the fact that he is just a really nice guy! No hard-sell tactics, no 'wedding-factory feel'....

Some of the DJs we've seen at showcases and met in person were a bit too hyperactive and seemed to want to be the center of attention during the reception. Michael conveyed that it is his job to make sure that WE (The Bride and Groom) are the center of attention. We also liked that he seemed to be a little more low-key (Elegant NOT boring) than some of the other companies which isjust what we were looking for.

Thanks to all of the girls who offered their suggestions on DJs. You were all a great help...Now on to PHOTOGRAPHERS!

Congrats! I know that was a big thing for me and I felt GREAT when I could check that off the list!

Good luck in your search for photographers! Any idea how many and who you want to see?

Photography is the one thing I am most uptight about so far. After all, besides your memories of the wonderful day, all you have to remember the day is the pictures (and yes, the video). I'm so worried that I'm going to choose the wrong photographer or because money is so tight, go with the least expensive photographer I can find and then 'pay the price' later on! Stress, stress, stress...that should be my middle name!
