Booked my hall!!!!

So happy we booked Chateau Briand last night, Frank is so nice and they were very accomodating!! Now onto the flowers, photos etc!! Anyone have suggestions for photog's that are reasonably priced?

Ask your reception hall if they have recommendations too and look out for bridal expos.

we are using Artie from Art-istic Images, he's located in Bohemia.

We saw quite a few photographers, and none were everything I was looking for...and he wasn't quite, either, until I told him I was looking for a little more photojournalistic than what I was seeing in his albums....

He whipped out another book - EXACTLY what I wanted to see! - and we booked him + a 2nd photographer (the photojournalist), and his prices were great. The thing I liked about our meeting with him was that he WASN'T trying to sell us a 2nd photographer, for more $$, the way the others all did. I had to ask for it!

FH has a few family members who have used him in the past - I know his one neice has the most beautiful wedding pics in her living room - I asked her who she used - Artie! She loved him...start to finish, and so did the other family members.

Referrals from family, great prices, and the style I was looking for...what more could you ask for?!

Thanks Helen !! I had my engagement party at the Douglaston Manor and I have to say it was amazing!! The food was sooo good I got tons of compliments..What room are you in?
