Booked my Hall in '06

I'm so excited! I booked my hall over the weekend. We're getting married in March '06 at Carlyle on the Green. Any other Carlyle brides out there?

Thanks girls!
We booked with Gary. We saw it and immediately fell in love with it. The ballroom literally took my breath away, sounds corny, but it's true!
Who did you deal with?

Divabride, I'm glad you think the food was great. It all sounds so good, you never really know though.

When do the '06ers get their own board?

I worked with Sue and agree about the ballroom. We picked it because we felt like we could see ourselves having our first dance there.

I went to the Oak Room for dinner and the food was soooo gooood!!!

What time of year did you pick? We went on Saturday to see how our centerpeices will look in the room. there was a couple with Gary then--was that you?

We picked March of '06. Just enough time to plan w/o getting stressed and not too long to wait.
We were there at around 4p for our appt with Gary, that could have been us. We peeked in on the wedding that was going on, it looked gorgeous! The centerpieces were really nice, are your similar?

Just curious- I'm still deciding on my centerpieces- what did u see when you were there high or low?

I saw high centerpieces when I was just there this past weekend. When we first looked there, they were setting up for a wedding with low centerpieces. Both looked really good. Either way, it will look gorgeous, b/c the ballroom speaks for itself and doesn't need a lot of decorating.
One thing, on that table when you first walk in, right before the cocktail hour room, there was a huge high floral arrangement and that was beautiful. I'm definitely going to try an do that.

Congratulations!! Carlyle is BEAUTIFUL!!! We would've booked there but our wedding is too small (130) for their Saturday night guarantee. I think we dealt with Susan and she was really great.
