Booked my HM flight to Hawaii!

We were planning on going for 10 nights and using our miles for a free flight. But when we called American Airlines, they couldn't find any dates for us in all of July or August with 10 nights in between the arrival and departure. What to do????

So... the only thing we could do was... stay 13 nights instead! So we'll have to budget our hotels a little better, but if Travel Tom is the magician you girls all say he is, we should manage okay.

I know! We're spending 3 nights in L.A. first, because that's where FMIL lives, so all told, that's 17 full days of vacation.

That is awesome!!! We are doing 10 days in Hawaii, I'm sure Travel Tom can work it for you..He wont put you in a 2 star hotel though, so do some research before hand becase if you cant afford it, tell him what hotels you do like..Otherwise its 4star or more..

Thanks for the heads-up. I got that feeling from him when we spoke on the phone last week. I emailed him tonight and told him that if we have to stay in a Motel 6 on one island we'll do it - we're just so happy to be there for all that time!
