Thanks Michele31... Wild Rose Video...really great shots and edits that I saw..they are in Islip and work from their home and are two really nice people. Very unobtrusive and only a 50 Watt light...They even showed me raw footage of where I will be getting married - Land's End - so I could get the feel...Very nice and not pushy people... good luck to all and happy planning

I was thinking of using Lands End...what do you think of them so far? How is their pricing?

love Land's End
They've been great to deal with - negotiating the price was the only annoying part but that's never fun. Pricing ranges from about $110-140 depending on season and day of the week. They've been very accomodating - offering us to help us out however they can since we're planning from CA. They scheduled a private tasting for us (since we won't be in town for the group one) and Gina even called to let us know the earlier party on our day had cancelled and we could move up our time if we wanted (she knew we were hoping to start a little earlier, 7 instead of 7:30). I knew it was the place as soon as I saw it - I love that it doesn't have the typical LI glitz - its just simply elegant.

love Land`s End
I just had my wedding there on 11/17. They were really wonderful. There were only a few things that bothered me, but not enough to put a damper on our day: 1. We had an afternoon reception (1-6) and they did not inform us that there was no wedding in the evening; I wish they had, because it would have been great to delay it for another hour. We came in from Brooklyn and got there about 1:15, had to rush pictures, etc. They extended the cocktail hour, but then cut if off of the dinner (still ended at 6:00). 2. Since they had to cut time off of the dinner, they rushed through cake. Many of my guest did not even have the cake because it was served and taken away while they were dancing. Aside from these little problems, everything else was wonderful. The food was great, the place is gorgeous and the staff was very attentive. For all Land`s End brides, you will not be disappointed!!!!Welcome New Vendors
