Booked our florist!!! RAVE!!!
FH and I have had a difficult time with flowers, which is why we did not book anything yet. We are just not flower people! Personally, we do not like big floral centerpieces of any kind, and so we had no idea what we were going to do. We were thinking that we would wind up DIYing some candleabras or something but we really were uncomfortable with that idea.
We went to Pedestals on the recommendation of many ladies on here and let me say that we were NOT disappointed! We met with Robert and he was amazing. We clicked instantly! FH and I expressed that we did not want any floral centerpieces, but that we loved the idea of lots of red rose petals and candles. He was so quick to think of things we would like and he was SPOT ON! We decided on floating candles in bowls lined with red petals at the bottom, with petals and votives strewn around the tables. He also helped us with what to do with our ceremony flowers, as - again - we did not want big floral pieces anywhere. We decided to do these beautiful cylinders with - you guessed it - floating candles and rose petals at the bottom, with more red petals strewn down the aisle.
I am THRILLED. We walked out of there feeling great. Someone actually listened to what we wanted and made our vision even BETTER than what we pictured. I have no doubt that everything will be gorgeous and exactly what we pictured.
So - if you have not met with any florists yet - I HIGHLY suggest Robert at Pedastals! I am beyond thrilled!![]()
