BOOKED our Honeymoon!!!

So yesterday I finally put the down payment for our honeymoon. I am soo excited and I really can't wait to go on it

I think FH thinks I am more excited for the honeymoon then having him home in July and out of the Marine Corps for good I keep telling him that isn't true.

But I am so excited because it definitely is our dream honeymoon and we didn't mind splurging on the HM part because we feel after 4 yrs of active duty in the Marine Corps and being apart our whole relationship and engagement we deserve a great HM haha

But we booked through Tom Varghese. If you do not know him he works through AMEX. He is wonderful to work with. He is extremely helpful as well as to helping you decide where to go according to your personality and what not. But if yuo have not already seen a travel agent definitely check into Tom. I will gladly FM you his info if needed. I definitely suggest going to Tom because he got us a great deal for what we were looking for and I am soo glad we worked with him!!!

Now- we are going to St. Lucia for 8 days! We are leaving 2 days after the wedding *but it gives us time to pack and wind down. Then we go to Ladera (www.ladera.com) for 3 days and it is more of a secluded resort but beautiful. Then we go to Sandals Grande for 5 days. I am soo excited

We got the room in Ladera with a plunge pool (actually all rooms have butler and pools in them) and then Sandals we got the Premium Beachfront Room with Butler service....

I CANT WAIT....I am soo excited to go to Sandals!!!

I am so happy that we finally booked it because between FH and myself we were confusing each other about our HM. We first thought Hawaii then DR then Greece then St. Lucia

it was so much stress haha and I think dress shopping will be easier than this

i would def checkout the prices of the plunge pool i thought- hey its our HM why not.

but we only got the plunge pool in the first hotel Ladera that we are staying at for 3 nights. which is enough for us since i know we wont be in the room all the time. but then after the 3 nights we head over to Sandals. I wanted relaxing and romantic and FH wanted a little bit more scenery and adventure. So that is why we did 2 different hotels.

but we got the beachfront view room with butler and i guess jacuzzi in the bathroom not the plunge pool room at Sandals but I say hey go for it is soo cool....

mayghen we actually didnt get it thrown in. but he wrote on our package that we are a honeymoon couple and my FBIL said his travel agent did that as well and Sandals (they went to antigua) gave them a free couples massages because they were on their honeymoon...so i know i will be opening my mouth while on our HM telling everyone we are on our HM haha so maybe we will get lucky

My brother said the same exact thing! to tell everyone that its your honeymoon because you get so much better treatment! plus sandals gives champagne and strawberries for honeymooners!! I'm so excited that you guys booked it, and you both got what you wanted by going to both places!!
