We booked all the hotels last night. We're going to book the flights tonight. Makes everything so real. We're staying 2 nights in Athens at The Divani Palace, 5 nights in Santorini at The Villa Ilias and 5 nights in Mykonos at The St John's Hotel I can't wait to be laying by this pool!
Awesome! We went to Santorini and Athens on our honeymoon this past October. It was amazing!

I stayed at the Divani Palace in Athens! You absolutely have to go up to the rooftop bar/restaurant and have drinks or dinner. The view of the acropolis is just amazing!!!

You had mentioned you stayed at the Katikies-which is really where I wanted to stay in Santorini. However it wasn't in our budget.

yay! my homeland! lol been to santorini and its just A M A Z I N G!!! good think your staying in athens the least amount because while yes a t night the view of the acropolis is beautiful and there are some great things to see, it is a city, so 2 days is perfect to see all the highlights and head out to the most beautiful islands everrrrrrrrrrr!!!! your gonna have a blast!

That was exactly our thinking. We didn't want to do a sight-seeing honeymoon because we want to relax. However, neither of us have ever been to Greece so we figured we could at least spend a day or two there at the beginning and then let the relaxing begin.

Honestly, it wasn't in our budget either! But it ended up being the gift my in-laws got us for our wedding! 5 days at the Katikies... I still dream about it!

DH and I went for our HM....we stayed in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete.
Everything is breathtaking and each island has it's own little culture...while in Santorini, I'd def suggest going to IA or OIA one night and having dinner at one of the restaurants w/ the garden rooftops and catching the sunset...it's out of this world!

YAY! We are going there too - different hotels but 2 nites Athens, 3 nites Mykonos, 3 nites Santorini and one nite back in Athens before heading home. I can't wait.
