booked (part of) our honeymoon - need opinions!

So we booked the first leg of our honeymoon. we're going on a 7 night Costa cruise, sailing from Venice, going to
Bari, Italy
Olympia, Greece
Santorini, Greece
Mykonos, Greece
Rhodes, Greece
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Venice

so here's my dilemma: I went to spend the second week in Italy but not sure where to go if we will be in Venice - I love southern italy and would love to go to sicily but we would need to fly down there and i'm not sure it's worth it if we only have six days. Any one have ideas for the northern part of italy? I would love to do tuscany and rome for sure, not Venice b/c we will spend the first night before the cruise there. I looked into first class airfare (FH's one request, go figure) and it was $7k direct from Venice! so it might be cheaper to fly home from Rome.

Also I know a bunch of people here have been to greece so any tips are welcome for our cruise. I'm very excited but a little stressed about planning the second week - i'm going to do research but would love some opinions - FH is NO help: 'you're the italian one, what do i know about italy' were his exact words

YOu have a great itinerary so far. Im planning on going to Italy before I go to Greece but staring in Rome first and either working our way north or south. I have to do some research bec I have no idea what places are good in Italy and which ones I want to visit.

i definitely recommend visiting taormina, or the amalfi coast. they are both amazing. and Rome and Florence if you decide on northern/central italy

it's in sicily - supposedly one of the most beautiful cities in the world... If you did naples you could do sorrento then the amalfi coast/ positano - the cute little town with the houses build into the mountains over looking the water that they ALWAYS show in pics.

Venice is the gondola city - it's a cool city surrounded by canals - you can see it in a day though
