We booked the Tahitian Princess this afternoon for the honeymoon, 10 days and then to Beverly Hills for 5 days. I am so excited. It was weird to put it under my new name!!! Just had to share. (I also posted this on BHB board)

Re: Booked the honeymoon
congrats...
just a quick note, I dont know if you knew this but I want to give you a heads up on it....
you dont receive your marriage certificate for a few weeks and you need your marriage certificate to change your name on any of your documents (social security card, passport, drivers license)
when you go to the airport you have to show boarding pass and ID. IF your ID and your boarding pass DO NOT match you will face a lot of problems (FI works in the airpot and other brides will tell you the same thing) which means if you book your honeymoon it should be booked under your maiden name as your ID's will still be in your maiden name (unless you and him are already married and your name is changed as well as your ID's. IF that be the case, kindly disregard this note)

Re: Booked the honeymoon
Thank u for the advice. My Fh is a teacher so we are going locally on a mini moon right after the wedding, and then 4 months later we are going to Tahiti. So I will have my name and IDs changed by then.

Re: Booked the honeymoon
It really is not too bad price wise, for both of us it will probably be around 5,000 (with post charges, taxes, chartered flight, etc) but keep in mind it is a lot less $$$ then staying on the islands becuase food and entertainment are included on the ship, etc. We figure it is a once in a lifetime trip, so we wanted to do this before children etc. If you want to know who we booked with FM mail me and I will give you the informatuion.
