booked video this weekend!!!!!

okay, well after looking at a gazillion photographers and their video stuff too, we made our decision to go with 12th night for photo mid-week. yay!!!

and then saturday we booked our video too!!! im sooo happy!! we are going with JPI. Joe is such a good, laid back guy, and i really look forward to working with him and seeing his video. We even got the wedding trailer that will come 4 weeks after the wedding! whooohoooooo.

sooo...i know that dj, flowers and limo are next on the list. but FH has a BIG certification test he is studying for. the test date is the same as our 1-year mark. EEEEK!!!!! so, basically, we are not looking at any vendors till the test is over.

what can i do in the meantime? any suggestions? i was thinking of checking out hotels for room blocks. what else is easy and simple that i can do on my own. FH wants to come to all the appointments and stay involved, so i dont want to do too much without him. ideas? what am i missing?

First congrats on booking your video. If you want to do something but still keep FH involved in the big things, you can start looking for your cake topper, toasting flutes, cake cutter sets, your shoes. You can do some research online and have different things picked out to show him and he can help make decisions on which you guys like better.

all the little things perhaps? cake cutter/toasting flutes, place cards, table numbers...

or bm gifts, parent gifts (if your doing them)

or

maybe come up with your wedding day timeline?

i think hotel rooms are a great idea-

do you have a list of the vendors yet? that always takes me awhile, and you could always start making appointments in the meantime..do you have your dress? what about looking up hms?

Good choice!! My sister, cousin and friend used them and there pictures came out beautiful!! We haven't gotten that far but will properly use them also!! Who are you using for video?

i would do some of the smaller things, like caker server/toasting flutes, maybe try finding some std's, monogram stuff, rb pillow etc
