Booked with Watermill!

I am so happy we looked at this RH. We weren't planning to go to far from my house, but fell in love when we saw this place. Anyone have any good/bad remarks on the watermill that I should be aware about? I looked online and found only positive things, but you never know! Also have any of you worked with Samantha? If so was it helpful?

I have only heard good things and my fiance went to 2 weddings there and loved it he said the food is great there. We went with East Wind but the watermill was our next choice. The outside area is so pretty!!

So pretty there.. We looked at it around christmas time .. There was a sweet 16 being set up and this grl had the cutest cp's.

I love the champagne tree

I looked there and really liked it! I heard Samantha is AMAZING and really goes out of her way for you whenever you need it... congrats and good luck!!

Congrats! I am booked there for July 2012 and so far I have not had any problems! They really seem to give you so much for your money!

I'm booked at WM too...I fell in love with it just like you did! I've heard the food is amazing (and agree, based on the sample platter they put together for us!) I haven't found Samantha very helpful, she seems to be more like a salesperson for the invitations and the vendors she recommends (which I hear she gets a kickback from). But I'm not at all disappointed by that. I would recommend negotiating with them to get other things thrown in like the chair covers, the candelabras, the champage tree, or the chocolate fountain!! Congrats, RH twin!

I am booked at The Watermill too! To be honest. I have not used Samantha for the invitations , but have found her helpful with details that I have emailed her about. She always answers my questions promptly and is open to meeting with her and setting up an appointment to talk.

Is the champagne tree an 'add on'? I loved that! If so, does anyone know how much?

i was married there over a year ago everything was perfect on the day of.. the staff was awesome. my bridal attendant stood out more than anyone - her name was alicia. i always remember that bc its my name lol but she was seriously amazing. request her if you can if she's still there!

I'm getting married one week before you at the Watermill!!!

We loved the place -- the menu is so great and although I didn't like the idea that there was going to be another bride there, everything else won us over. We met with Samantha last week and she was amazing! She was showing us invitations and she is so helpful! Not pushy at all and absolutely lovely! We'll probably go back to pick the final invitation soon!

We almost picked watermill but went with a place closer to us, I have only heard great things! We have several people we know that got married there and the food is excellent !
