Just wondering when everyone booked their hotels for out of town guests and friends that want to stay over...I know it probably doesnt matter how early you do it, im about 10 months away from the big day...should I do it now?

Re: Booking hotels
I would do it now... it was one of the first things I booked. Just to be sure I got the rooms and also the suite I wanted. It's easy to do and since there were limited options- I got it out of the way early on because I was certain where they would stay (La Quinta on Stewart Ave- good $$ and convenient to my ceremony & reception).

Re: Booking hotels
just spoke of that last night w/ consultant. book now and a few more then you think you will need. if you don't use up the whole block of rooms by the week before your date...they will just put them back out as available rooms for the general population!

Re: Booking hotels
We did it a year in advance (dont know why so early) , it was fun browsing all of the suites and we figured one less thing to do.. Also, we copied our friends and did a newsletter with a save the date and hotel info to all out of towners in Nov. to give them time to plan..

Re: Booking hotels
I'm just doing this now.....a couple of the hotels are booked already, and the ones that aren't booked aren't offering as big a discount as possible....but i'm also on memorial day weekend. i should have done this earlier....but there are still good hotels available...i'm signing contracts for it this weekend.
