I am a terrbile negotiator and FH claims to be good.. but i have yet to see that..

Do not go in and say, 'this is what I want to spend.' or, 'We are looking to spend 3500.' or anything like that. Be firm, but not rude. They need your business, but, they will get someone else just as easily! If something seems outrageous, say it.
That's all I can think of.

ooo i have hte same problem...i am not a negotiator...i will walk in there and let them persuade me to book without even thinking any different haha
but FH has yet to show me my negotiation skills so we will see lol but i always wanted to know how to negotiate

sorry, I'm not a born negotiator either, we tried but our photographer was pretty set in his prices. I guess it depends on who you speak to, most places won't lower the price but they might throw more stuff in to the package
