Hi, I was thinking.... do you think its an option to hire a regular bus instead of party to get guest from Brooklyn to Long Island and back to safe money? Has anyone tried ? Is it cheaper then party bus? and do you think its ok from etiquette point of view? I was on party bus and the drive from Brooklyn to LI was very long that i personally might have preferred to see where i am instead of black windows of party bus
Any opinions? Thanks

we are getting a partybus for the WP but we are also renting a coach bus for the day which will take people from FIL's house in queens (which is where most of the OOT guests will be), then to the church in the bronx, then to the RH in LI, and then back to queens. Of course anyone is more than welcome to go on the coach bus before and after the reception.

That's completely fine! Partybuses are expensive. We had a coach bus provided for OOT guests and then had the BP hitch a ride home on it at the end of the night. No problems at all!

We had a school bus...was ~$900 for 10 hours

we are doing this too! we got a sick deal since mom knows the people I think its fun and different. And in all honesty, providing transportation for your guests is something nice you are doing, and is NOT required of you. So your guests should be happy you are doing anything!
