I know some of you have been asking about booking hair/make up trials. I would say do it the sooner the better. I'm having a hard time finding someone who would travel to me for a trial. Some do, but they're taken for my day.

I have an appointment with Oksana and with Marie Katz for makeup trials. I'm looking to book hair and makeup now. Unfortunately, Jacqueline Nicole won't book makeup trials until 6-8 months before the wedding (which doesn't make sense to me). She lost my business by doing that. I hear alot of them get booked quick and I am not taking any chances. Plus, I'm anal

Good luck with your trials. I'm sure you're going to love Oksana she is so sweet. I definitely agree with booking hair and make up early, they get booked very quickly. Please post pictures of your trials.

Thank you I'll keep it in mind In using Vivian at Anthony Coles for my hair but I haven't deceided if Im gonna look for a makeup person yet.

I tried to book my trial the night of my e-party... I figured Id get to show off my pretty make-up but Oksana was not avaiable...
I still wanna set up a trial with her in the future... but with other make up vendors as well...
does anyone have info on Marie Katz.. and or other traveling make up artists?>

marie katz doesn't travel for a trial but i think oksana does. this is my problem...trying to find an artist that travels.

JN must've recently changed her policy about booking trials. I called her one year in advance, and she was already booked for my date. I wonder if she was booking way in advance, and people canceled on her???
