booking velvet studio and found the dress!!!

So excited! ordered a paloma blanca dress and got a major vendor done!! now on to a dj search!! the most important thing to me is finding a great dj!!! im looking into tommy tunes , high voltage and after hours, and maybe long island sound...anyone have any input on which one is the best?????

sorry i don't really have any feedback on the dj's, we did look at some but i haven't heard any live. i can only tell you from my experience that i didn't like tommy tunes. the two dj's that i really did like were bravura and body rock. sorry i didn't meet with the others mentioned.

Congrats!! We are looking into FM entertainment and after hours for a dj...so far we leaning towards FM..let me know if you need more info

I booked High Voltage. Vinny is really a nice guy and very accommodating. Always answers quickly on email too.

Congrats! Let's see the dressssssss!
Next to my RH the most important thing to me was the DJ too because they can do much more than just play music.
I was BLOWN AWAY when I went to see LI Sound. Their customer service was phenomenal. They have a whole room to demo their style. I've saw then at a NYE party at Land's End and was like 'I want these guys!!!' And not only did they get The Knot awards (for at least) 2008 & 2009 - they also got the highest rating. I'm going with MC Mike, but I've also heard nothing but praises for DJ Chris (also the owner).
They will wok within your budget and will get competitive with pricing.
See all of the DJ's you're interested in... And meet some actual DJ's if possible.

IDK about the other dj's my school where I work uses LIsound for dances and what not - they always do a great job! Even got a dad to break dance and a father daughter dance lol

I am going to meet with Velvet tonight, would you mind FMing me what you got and how much? thanks!

CONGRATS on the dress!! Do you have pictures??

I am using Tommy's Tunes! We felt 100% comfortable with them and they were also willing to work with us A LOT on price. We looked into LI Sound and After Hours as well, but they were more $$$ than TT. Also, we did not really like After Hours showcase.

I personally looooved Li Sounds when i saw them at my frends wedding.. but unfortuantely the price was a little higher then we wanted to spend.. then we saw tommy tunes cause they were awesome at my bros wedding.. and their price was unbeatable!! we got an amazing deal and I know they are great from experience and my bros wedding was amazing everyone couldnt stop talken about it. def wroth checkin out!!:)
