I don't think it is ever too early. You will get better rates if you book this early.

Its definitely not too early. FH and I are currently looking at Photographers and DJs. Right now you have your pick of vendors and you get 2009 prices.

We already have DJ, Photography, Video booked!
I think it's still too early to start looking for a florist though.. another 6 months and I'll start looking.

Not at all! We booked our ceremony location & RH already & are now looking at DJs. Before the holidays I would love to have DJ & Photographer booked. Then in early spring we'll probably do florist & limos. And then we'll be just about at the one year mark! Let me know if you need any help/recommendations

no way the earlier you book the more likely you will get your top choice vendors especially if you like a certain photographer and MC.

It's def not too early. Fh and I are trying to book as much as we can now in 2009. So far we only have the RH but photo/video is next...
