booking vendors in advance

I have Booked My RH and Photographer! In love with bothhh!
I would like to continue booking asap, not rushed but at a steady pace. I am nervous however, with all the talent out there am i going to second guess the vendors i book?

does this happen to you?
how do you prevent it?
do i book all my vendors & cancel my LIW account!? haha

I hate to even think something I love could turn into a second favorite!

I know this idea is said alot but you really gotta go w/ your gut.

FH and I try to plan 3 to 4 vedors for each area of the wedding - ok, photog we only went to 1 BUT that's kind of my point, when you know you just know that it's right for you!

I think 2nd guessing is always going to happen - but you have to trust your decision and even though your vendors are doing the work they also work FOR YOU so you do have some control over things.

I agree with Eloise. Meet with a few in each area, so you have a few to choose from, take you time with it. don't rush. go at your steady pace like you said though. that should give you time to digest each one and weigh the pros and cons.

thanks for the advice ladies! i mentioned this once before but my problem is I find something I like and feel like I have to book quickly, like someone will book that day if i dont! What a maniac!

I am the same way!!! llmao... what I have been doing, is once I booked my hotographer, all teh girls on here would talk about other ones that I didn't check out or something, and I would tell myself not to look at their site! lol But you have to be comfortable with what YOU decide. I know I love my photogs work, so I am comfortable with booking him and not having regrets etc…

But that’s the other reason whay I am taking so much time finding my dress! I have a feeling I am going to see something on here and fall in love after I put a deposit down or something lol I am going to make sure that it is THE dress before I buy it!

One of the many pros and cons of this site - it can make you go a bit manic.

But you also need to step back from your manic ways and enjoy this process too - it's only supposed to happen once in your life, so as much as you may 2nd guess yourself, no matter what it will be beautiful and memorable b/c its your and FH's special day.
