My mom is a very big part of my life, she raised me by herself and has always been there for me. Anyways I was reading in a magazine that said instead of doing a bouquet toss you could present your mom with it and say a little speach to her. What do you girls think of this?? Anyone ever see this done?? I really want to do something in my mom's honor but she doesn't want to do a dance.

that sounds good... I have also seen people give the bo-K to the couple at the wedding who has been married the longest.... It's a special dance they do all the couples get up and they start saying anniversary years the couple left standing the longest gets the bo-K
I think that's what we ar edoing

i think we're doin that too... no1 really believes that the next to catch the bok will be the one to get married next anyways

I'm sure your mom would love that idea...I do like the couples married the longest. I have also heard of them giving advice to the newly married couple

OMG I LOVE IT TO DEATH. I really think I may surprise her with that. I think she would love it!
And, on the bo-k I am having a locket with my grandfathers picture on it!!! I could always put a picture of her and him in it as well and give her that as a surprise!! YOU are awesome! Thanks for the idea!

We aren't 100% sure if we are going to do the TOSS or not... because we don't have a TON of single people coming!!
but those are AMAZING ALTERNATIVES I love them! I never saw the mother one done but it sounds LOVELY.. however I have seen the 'couple married the longest' one done and i think that's ADORABLE TOO
