ok, to make a long story short, we have to cancel our tahitian cruise...
BUT, we want to go to bora bora....anyone going?? what are you quotes?
we were thinking of a bungalow above the water; anyone else doing something like this?

I researched it. But all of the travel agents talked me out of it. They said that there is nothing to do there besides the beach. They said the accomodations are amazing. But otherwise, the food is only ok.
They convinced me to go to Mauritius instead. The accomodations are just as good, but there is more to do and the food is much better. Mauritius is in the Indian Ocean.

I have also talked with a travel agent who said don't do it for a honeymoon. Just want to be honest I guess!

FH and i are going to Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti for 12 nights 13 days - 7 of those nights are going to be on an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora - we are paying a little over $9K for it
