Bora Bora Hotel HELP!!!!

Hi Ladies....

I could really use your help...I'me halfway, booking my HM....we have our flights....and our stay at Sheraton Moorea - Sup. Garden View....

i'm going crazy! now i need help with Bora Bora for 3 nites ....I dont know wehre i want to stay, its a combination of saving $$ plus still gettingthe OWB experience! ps is tehre a difference with Horizon views?

here are my choices....any advice/pics would be great!

Bora Bora Pearl (OWB or Prem OWB)

Intercontinental Le Moana (Ste. Bungalow or OW Horizon Ste)

Bora Bora Nui (OW Villa or WAter Horizon Villa)

IC Thalasso (Emerald)

Bora Bora Lagoon (OWB)

i''ve seen all those hotels and they are all nice.

The IC thalasso would be my pic because i've stayed there and it was amazing.

it is the newest of the hotels u are thinking of staying at.

The IC Moana- is nice also- more of a tahitian feel to it.

The thalasso is very modern and high class, it is just gorgeous.

The thalasso gives beautiful views- request room 238- that is where we stayed, wehad the sunrise in our room every morning!

I've only stayed at one... the Pearl... and it was just gorgeous there! It has the polynesian feel to it and we looooved our OWB (#13)!

IMO... any hotel you choose on BB, make sure it is on it's own motu and not on the main island. There are resorts on the main island that are nice, but it is such an amazing experience to be on a secluded island at your resort and see the main island in the distance. It was fun having to take a boat everywhere we wanted to go... we loved it! The Pearl is on it's own motu with no other hotels.

I agree with what Jess says and stay on a motu...I have not been yet. Going soon.

I too am staying at the Thalasso but I think you said you are looking to save $...it is very expensive here.

I think the other IC is on the main island...I think??? So I wouldn't stay there.

The BB Pearl looks amazing and is more affordable than the Thalasso.

Nui looks nice and always gets great reviews...

The BB Lagoon doesn't get much talk on these boards but my friend stayed there and loved it. I believe this is also much more affordable than the Thalasso.

I honestly don't think you can go wrong at any of them....they all look amazing!!!

Ahhhhhhh...how beautiful is that pic of you int he pool just floating there!!!1 did you like the OWB? i was gonna choose b/w the prem. OWB or OWB.....any opnion?

I think the Premium OWB are a little further out and face the horizon, not the shore. We were not in a premium, but as you can see from the pictures we still had a lot of privacy and space for ourselves.

BTW, we LOVED the OWB. We hardly left our room the entire time that we were there.

We stayed at the Sheraton Moorea. I would recommend getting an overwater bungalow at this hotel if possible. They have great snorkeling right off the rooms and have nice sun bathing decks.

Didn't stay at the hotels you listed for Bora Bora.
We stayed at Le Meridian OW Bungalow. We loved it there too. I would recommend it.

Yep. Not a pool. It's the lagoon in front of our OWB.

Another vote for the BB Pearl- I LOVED it.

As for OWB vs. Premium OWB, I don't think you can go wrong with either one. If you can swing a splurge, why not?

i am sooo needing to be just relaxing in that lagoon pic!!!....wedding planning is getting stressful!
