Re: Bora Bora Thread

I am so confused. Sometimes when I go to post something on here, the thread just doesn't show up. What's the deal with that???

Anywayssss... WE ARE LEAVING ON SUNDAY!!!!

I am freaking out. And so excited ! BUT haven't had time to REALLY pack for a 17-day vacation yet!! EEEeeeekkkk! I layed out some dresses... and packed the essentials (medicines, sunscreen, bug repellent, toiletries)

Any last minute suggestions??

Here's our itinerary:
Overnight Flight to PPT
*7 Nights Intercontinental Moorea Beach Suite Bungalow (w/ Breakfast included).
ATV TOUR one day -
Does anyone have a specific trip they did that was AMAZING??
Which restaurants would you reccommend (that won't totally break the bank)
Did anyone scuba dive?? Where and which company did you use?
Dr. Poole's Whale and dolphin excursion (haven't booked yet)
We also want to rent scooters somewhere along the lines.
*4 NightsBora Bora Intercontinental Resort and Thalasso Spa, Diamond Overwater Bungalow, 4 nights (Breakfast and Dinner Included Daily)
Lagoonarium.
We pre-booked it through our travel agent... how much did you end up paying the for entire (6&1/2 hour) day one? Was it worth it? Did you love it?
Shark & Snorkel Safari
*3 Nights FOUR SEASONS Bora Bora (Breakfast and Dinner Included Daily) Overwater Bungalow Beach View
Jetski Tour
Massages!!
Overnight Flight back to LAX/JFK
Sooo can you think of anything else?? I am packing cute dresses for Moorea and a little more dressy for Bora Bora. Will i need a light jacket or will a pashmina be okay?
WHat kind of water shoes did you get? (And where?)
Geeez there is a lot of stuff to pack for a long trip!

Any advice would be awesome!
TIA!!

i know! your thread dissappeared??? i asked CS about it and they said they didnt pull it, yet its no where to be found.

have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ummm on moorea, we ate at daniels pizza, some cute little french restaurant i forget the name of, tapenieres and we took out food from this bar/restaurant the day we rented a dune buggy. which is a MUST DO!!!!! rent one!!!!! and rent it at 2pm from Eurocar, cause they close at 5, and its a 4 hour rental, so they just tell you to leave it at the hotel when your done. we drove it around until 7/7:30ish.
the breakfast at the hotel is pretty decent! we enjoyed it every morning. the hashbrowns are soooo good....
i was chilly at night but i went the end of august. so im not sure how the weather will be this time of year. it was VERY windy when we were there, during the day, laying out you needed it, but at night it was like, ok enough with the wind.

when your at the thalasso, go to the stingray feeding! its sooooo awesome!!!! they show up everyday around 1:30 and swim around until the feeder gets there at 2. for dinner, we were there 2 nights, so we ate at the buffett/show one night and the restaurant thats half on the beach- make reservations for the beach tables. Please report back and let me know if the philipeno looking one with the fake boobs is still there!!! her and this other guy were totally new to the show and kept being a few seconds behind, we couldnt help but laugh. and they werent in the back, the girl was in the front row and the guy was middle center, so totally noticable.... and we were talking to this other couple at the other hotel we stayed at and they said they were lauging at the same thing! haha oh and enjoy the pool at the thalasso, its really nice!!!

we got our nike water shoes online. maybe amazon??
the shark and snorkel excursion was really cool! the water they take you in is amazing!!! is it the one where you swim with the sharks and stingrays? thats the one we did, but they also took us to this amazing coral reef to snorkel. If its that one, bring your snorkel equipment including fins.

have a blast!!!!!! wake up early with the sunrise.... its beautiful.............
i just realized you are prob there already.... just noticed the date you posted... sorrY!!!! ha! ill leave this up for others
