My FH and I are debating between Bora Bora and Hawaii for the honeymoon and we are having a really hard time deciding.
The over the water bungalows in Bora Bora look amazing, but from what I understand, Bora Bora is soooooooo much more expensive that Hawaii.
What do you guys think?

I don't really know too much about Bora Bora, but we are going to Hawaii for ours, and 3 of our friends went there on their honeymoons recently and they all said they spent about 10k on the trip for 2 weeks when all was said and done. So I know Hawaii will be expensive too. Do you know roughly how much Bora Bora is?

Bora Bora is very expensive when it comes to food and so on but it is well worth it. You go on your honeymoon once and it is definately a beautiful place to go and see at least once. We went and loved it

Bora Bora without a doubt....this should not be a question....Hawaii is soo cliche everyone goes there.I here Bora Bora is gorgeous!!

We are not spending anything close to that and we are going all out. 16 days and staying at the st.Regis!!! Which is a five star hotel. Also where they filmed couples retreat!

bora bora definitely!!! Hawaii is expensive as it is, if ur gonna spend that much money whats a lil bit more to do bora bora.....
bora bora is where i wanted to go, but fhs uncle offered us a free honeymoon to cabo, so that was something we couldnt refuse

I would say Bora Bora! I think it's at least 10K for a week though. That is my dream vacation! DH and I were thinking about taking a 2 week cruise that goes to Hawaii and Bora Bora and some other islands. We can get the best of both worlds.

I never been to either but if I had a choice a would go to Hawaii that's my dream vacation and I would do a cruise so that I could see the other Island. good luck I wish u guys all the best
