Borders/Amazon - GRRR

So, I got about 3 Borders gift cards for Christmas. I decided to order a couple of things online. Borders.com directs you to Amazon.com. Fine. So I order the two items I want, and the total comes to $26 and change. My gift cards are $25 each. So I enter the first one, and the system accepts it. I try to enter the second and I get a message saying that they can only accept ONE Borders gift card per transaction (I ordered the two things together to get free shipping). At the bottom of the payment page it clearly states that you can use up to THREE gift cards per TRANSACTION.

So, I email Amazon to find out the deal. I basically got a non-response. They say that you are only allowed ONE Borders gift card per transaction. W*T*F? Then why does it say you can use up to THREE per merchant?!?!

So, I fired off another (not so nice) email to Amazon. I wonder if my items will come damaged or spit on or worse...
