And she is just the cutest thing ever. Lately she's been doing strange stuff in her sleep a lot, which I assume means she is dreaming. Right now, her paw is flapping up and down. Sometimes all her legs move like she's running around in her dreams ... chasing squirrels, I imagine ... and other times she makes these weird whimpering noises that sound a bit like she is screaming, but muted. CRACKS ME UP!
Anybody else's dog do this?

Re: bored and watching my dog sleep ...
yeah, mine does the whimper then bark thing too in her sleep. But she only does it when she sleeps on the couch - never in the middle of the night! Strange huh?
I also love when my dog sees something out the window or something and she does this half bark. Like she started to bark and then gave up. It's just slightly louder than a sneeze or something, so funny. FH and I imitate her allllll the time. (We ARE crazy, yes.)

I think they are long lost siblings.

My pits do the same thing! My red-nose all out sprints in his sleep. My black and white one puffs out her cheeks and does half barks at the window. They are hysterical!
I could watch them all day

Re: bored and watching my dog sleep ...
We are too funny. Sitting around watching our dogs.
Mine is now laying with her head turned in the opposite direction of her body. She contorts herself so much, I wonder how in the hell she can be comfortable let alone sleep ... but she seems to be OUT like a light.
Wish I had a picture to post of my Dutchess but I have a new computer and all the photos are on an externa hard drive not currently connected ....
