Me and DH are planning a trip to Boston...would you say its better to drive or take the train. The train seems really expensive and is close to 4 hours long...anyone who could provide me any information i would appreciate it.

Re: Boston
I've never taken the train to Boston, but since Amtrak and NJT are on the same lines, I would say DON'T DO IT!!! NJT has had so many track and mechanical problems this past week, anyone traveling by rail is better off waiting for the spring thaw. JMO

Re: Boston
i actually like the train - i take it from Boston to new london - very relaxing - a lot of space and their are outlets (real ones) at every window seat
parking like any city costs money - most hotels chare around $25 to park your car - just keep that in mind
it is a pretty easy drive though between Boston and Long island
