SCHOOL'S OUT: Although there's no official confirmation from Fox, the ax reportedly has fallen on Boston Public. That would explain why the show's star, Chi McBride, just signed on to play a SWAT team leader in the ABC drama pilot Countdown.

Re: Boston Public...Cancelled
I knew this was going to happen...just a matter of time, when they moved the show to Friday night!!
the TV people suck!! Instead of doing more crappy reality (read: lies) shows, they need more shows of substance!!

That was a great show- so well written.
Fox is really going down the drain.

It's their own fault for moving it to Fridays!! I loved that show when it was on Mondays (that is, when I was able to watch it!)

I can hear my mother now: 'Everytime I like a show it gets cancelled'.
She's going to cling like nothing else to Sue Thomas FBEye and Doc now.
It was a good show - I love my Joey-Joe. Sorry to hear it was cancelled.

Me too, especially when it wasn't on every week and they were postponing shows and then playing them the following week. I knew it would die on Fridays. I think Third Watch has a much bigger following than BP, sadly...

Re: Boston Public...Cancelled
That sucks. Boston Public and ED are 2 of my fav shows, and now ED is gone and BP is on its way out. We need to call Fox and tell them not to cancell it,
