Re: Bottle Liquor and shot glass?
I don't think it is a bad idea at all... unless you're not confident that no one will open the bottles to do shots at the wedding. I'd be afraid someone at my wedding might get silly like that. (Then again, if that wouldn't bother you, it's not a problem)
I also have quite a few people coming to my wedding who don't drink at all, but you certainly can't plan your favors to please everyone!

i was thinkin that ...i would be givin out absolute prob since they have wide variety of flavors..and way i was lookin at it ...its open bar the whole weddin so wats the diff if they get shots from the bar or use that? atleast the favor will be used haha...and with all the alchol that will be served i dont think they will even need the bottle ....as for the peple who dont drink thats why i am providin another favor as well. I also figured to alot of people even who dont drink much like to collect shot glasses

The only reason I mention it is because we are specifically telling the bar tenders not to give out shots at the wedding. People can get liquor straight up in a glass with or without ice if they want it. FH does not want people doing shots at the wedding, though.
ETA - Plus, even people who don't drink probably keep alcohol in their home / serve it to guests, etc. So it wouldn't be wasted on them necessarily!

this is a cute idea. i would just wait till the end of the night to give it to everyone. if you have an open bar people can just get shots there.

Oh, to be clear, I still think it's a good idea!! I wasn't trying to discourage you from using it - MOST people wouldn't dream of opening those bottles at the reception. Plus, you can package them with the shot glass to make them less accessible.
I was just giving some thoughts on what could go wrong -- but hey, someone could decide to start throwing ice cream scoops if they really wanted to. You can't plan for everything! I think it's a nice idea.
