I'm going to be getting boudoir photography done and I'm trying to make a list of props/accessories/outfits to bring with me that match this style shoot. The theme of the shoot will the fun, pretty, romantic side of pinup. For some reason, I'm having a brain fart and cant think of anything
Fun! Who are you getting them done by?? I want to do them too, I think it's a great gift! Make sure you have red lipstick and thin eyebrows! Maybe a sailor outfit? Granny-type panties?? You know the full coverage bottoms? And some high pumps/MaryJanes? Good luck!

I'm getting them done by mariann at blue daisy. Red lipstick looks horrible on me, but I'm going to make sure that my makeup artist does something more done than I would usually have.
I'm also thinking about bringing my veil to use in maybe a few of the photos. Also, one of those big circle lollipops. Any other ideas?
btw, the sailor thing is soooo cute haha.

I just met with Mariann the other day as a potential for my wedding! Just curious, is she shooting your wedding too? She's a bit out of budget for us, but her work is amazing! We haven't decided yet! You can find a red that will look good---everyone can, you probably just won't be used to it! Your makeup artist will find one----how about a cigar/cigarette? Cigarette with holder? Smoke and all! HOT! Have fun!

We're thinking about her for the wedding too. She is also a little out of her budget...I guess I just have to decide if she's worth it to me. Idk yet, but her work is sooo beautiful. The cigar idea is great.
I guess you're right, I just havent found a good red for me. Its kind of hard bc I have very light skin and dark chocolate brown hair...the red usually looks really strange and way toooo bright against my light skin.
I'm so excited yet so nervous about it...I'm going to be doing some nudes so its a little more...umm...risque than most people go

try this site, and especially look at the bathing suits and lingerie, bc all the ones they have are vintage type ones and mostly pin up style. Hopefully they have good things at the moment

You're BOLD girl! Good for you! If you look at many pinup girls, they have very light skin (often dark hair) AND bright red lips, I'm sure you're look gorgeous!

if your going for a burlesque type of photo. I took a burlesque dance class which was awesome by the way but i would use feather boas, long satin gloves, tassles if you really want to get into it!!!
