Boudoir Pics

Hi Ladies,

For those of you that have taken Boudoir Pics...who did you work with? Were you comfortable?, etc.....I guess I just want to know what your overall experience was...I would like to do them for my FH but I don't know what to expect.

I haven't done them but I do know alot of girls on here have used Angelica Glass and have had a great experience! HTH

i did mine with angelica glass. i was a little nervous about going - but most of the nerves i had were b/c of the drive there (i live far) i had 100% faith that she wouldnt make me look like an idiot

i was shy for all of five minutes. by the end of the session i was topless and only wearing a thong and heels she posed me so that my FH's white button down was draped across my chest or so that my arms were covering my chest. i wasn't embarrased at all. i felt very very comfortable - and i felt like i was with a friend. we had a lot of laughs. it was really fun. it was actually so much fun that i wish i could do it again!

thanks for sharing your experience....I am afraid of feeling embarrased too, but knowing now that you felt comfortable with her helps me to make the call.

dont get me wrong, you will be a little nervous and you might feel a little silly in the very beginning BUT after a few minutes i swear to you, i forgot that i was practically naked and its not like you are taking dirty pictures - everything she did was very very tasteful....we talked in between poses so it was never awkward. she always gave lots of directions and helped me pose the right way - she would even fix my hair or place my hands in the right spots for me if i wasnt getting it.....if you book with her i promise you will have a good time.

i feel like angelica can read our minds about what we like and dont like about our bodies. i can honestly say that ive never seen her post a bad boudoir picture on her blog. there are pictures of me standing in the window sill or laying on the couch where my legs actually look LONG - i am barely 5 feet tall and am super tiny and short....i dont know how she did it but i dont look short in ANY of the pictures she took of me - my body actually looks long in some of them - i think she has a magical camera!

I have the same issue with my body as well....so that is adding to my apprehension...but I really want to do it so I think I am going to book her

oh, thank you! when do you take yours? i want to see mariann's too. i've heard so many good things about her too, and love her wedding pics! you have absolutely nothing to worry about!

it's so hard keeping it a secret though from FH. i go home, and he looks over my sholder, and i tell him that he cant' cause i have super secret emails he's not allowed to read. he's so confused, and when i leave my house to take them, all made up, i swear he's gonna think i'm selling myself out to pay for the wedding...

I did mine with AG...and was totally comfortable. I had nothing on by the end not even panties!!!! ;) (there was stuff covering my downstairs in the pics....but in reality, i was nekked)

Don't worry about being uncomfortable. IT's like when you go try on dresses or go to the seamstress for alterations. THose ladies have seen it all...they don't even blink an eye when you strip down!

LMAO........that had my laughing out loud, cause YES, Juan (FH) says the same thing!! I tell him, Umm listen hunny, I have to go into the city on the 18th with some conspicious items, but I cant show you what it is and I cant tell you why Im going, but trust ME, when I give you your gift on the wedding day, it will all make sense!!! He just looks at me like LOL

Mine is slated for January 18th! Mariann is super sweet and really a talented photographer, and her prices for B-pics are great...she gives you alot for your $$. She doesnt have many examples on her Blue Daisy website, but she sent me some samples of her B-pic work, and they are amazing.....and guess what...not all the girls are a size 0.....yay!!! LOLOL

I did them with AG and I was soooooooo nervous, I took 2 shots of tequila to shake it off!

But honestly, 5 minutes into the session I was topless posed in all sorts of poses...I just got all my proofs back today and they all look really great!!! I'm VERY self conscius and she made me feel awesome and totally comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend her if your thinking about em...you can see mine if you want, the pics are in my album
