A discount takes away from the creativity? They need a certain amount of money for the creative juices to flow? what crap. Sorry, that's just b s. Here's a chance to book up a large portion of their time....what's 10% in the grand scheme of things. The second people hear wedding, prepared to be ra ped.

I know, I was honestly surprised. A girl I know is getting married in may along with 3 other couples. She said all her appointments she does with the 3 other girls, b/c they get big discounts booking all together.

That's what gave me the idea!

I say let's not axe this idea, we will find someone who will take advantage of such an offer. Maybe if we all showed up at one appointment, they'd work something out!

Heard back from Fedali:

No discount!!!

They are taking appointments for 2009 starting in October.

I will say this, I think their packages are much better than Blue Daisy. However, I like the work of Blue Daisy better.

Well hopefully I will hear back from Angelica Glass next week she is on vacation.

i cant figure out whose packages are better...on one hand fedali gave a dvd with the pics as well but blue daisy gave more proofs and i think unlimited outfit changes

finally got around to reading this post...

Count me in on this too!! I have some links on my computer at home I can post later on for one company...if i recall correctly they do nice work.

See if they will give us a group rate. I can work with a up and coming photographer, as long as the pics are beautiful.

I just e-mailed my photographer. She is definitely an up and comer. LOVE her work. Check her out at www.kimberlyhurst.com. I asked if she had experience with Boudoir shoots and how much it would cost. Will let you know.

blue daisy and AG charge the same for boudoir pictures but girls the price you get is not including albums or proofs so keep that in mind. The price is for the session.

Also with independent photojournalistic photographers it will be hard to get a discount. Everything for them is out of pocket expenses so they are less willing to give discounts. ALl equipment, programs, retouching, albums, ordering the proofs they have to pay for, unlike a company where it can provide photographers with these things. AG does not have a storefront or a company, she works for herself, and im almost sure its the same for blue daisy.

try to negotiate on album prices though, it might work.

B-pics: In the vendors helping brides, this company said that they do B-pics. Maybe we could check them out, their starting price for weddings is 1800, so b-pics shouldn't be too pricey, right?

As a matter of fact I do have that price. Her day after shoots start at $300 and she travels anywhere between LI and Manhattan (we're having our e-pics done in the West Village). Her work is amazing and she is such a nice person. Really easy to talk to and so quick to get back to any question you may have. FH and I just fell in love with her work. Not going to count her out as my d-pic photog just yet. Might be nice to be her 'first'
