Question for you ladies who have done or have booked a boudoir session.
When did you have them taken?
Our wedding is in November of 2011 and I'm not sure if I should schedule them for the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011.
What is your input on this ladies???

depends who you're using and how long the turn around is for the pictures.
Also it depends when you want to give them to FH.

Ok so Kim you are doing it about 8 months before the wedding. That seems like a good amount!
Jess- I haven't picked a person to take them yet, but I do want to give them to FH the night of the wedding.

I did mine in May w/ Vanessa at Hidden Pixels and my wedding is in August (I'm giving them to FH the night before the wedding).
I wish I would've waited a little bit longer before taking them b/c I've lost weight since I took them. They came out good but I wasn't feeling too sexy the day I took them b/c FH decided to invite his friend and his friends new gf over for a bbq the night before

I am taking mine in Aug and my wedding is in Jan. I would think to wait until 2011 to take them. Also you should start looking for someone now. The good photographers get booked up very quickly. i booked my photographer last june for this year and she only had a few dates left

I think I am going to go with Jenerations about six months before the wedding so that would be around May 2011. I wouldn't want to take them too soon and then regret it.

I'm getting married in Sept 2011 and having my pics taken in June 2011.
Also you may want to look into Jenerations...i know that she'll offer a discount on a group of girls. Thats how I got mine...someone started a group. I know theres a lot of girls interested if you just post it on here!!

I am planning on doing my session in Feb 2011 so that it will give my friend enough time to edit the photos and have them back to me so I can make an album for FH (it's part of his gift).
I'd say for you to schedule it for anytime that's convenient to you. The onyl reason I am waiting as long as possible to do it is so I can get in better shape beforehand.

Some places do specials. That's how I first started thinking about doing it. The place I want to had a V~Day special. And although I didn't go with it at the time it was a good deal but I wasn't mentally prepared to do it. You can keep an on on certain places you'd consider and possibly get some sort of deal.
