if you're doing one, who are you using? what's the price point i'd be looking at? where are you having them done? i know FH really wants me to do this and i'm starting to feel better about myself now that I'm seeing changes in my body. i'd like to do one maybe around june or july.

i am not sure i'm 100% comfortable using someone i don't know, so i was thinking i might speak to my wedding photographer to see if she would shoot me. however, this will probably be way pricier. (i know this actually sounds backwards, like why would i want someone who i am going to see again see me half naked ... but she is really amazing and I just feel 100% comfortable with her.)

I haven't personally looked into it, but my friend has spoken to a few photographers about doing this kind of shoot. The prices ranged from 300-700. One that she's thinking of going with is a photographer by the name of steven disalvatore. He charges 300 and does boudoir and lifestyle type shoots, in addition to weddings. Maybe its best to go with a photog that does similar types of work since they're more comfortable around it, and can help you with posing/come out of your shell.

Also, it may not be as pricy going with your wedding photographer. She'd probably offer you a discount since she's doing your wedding. Our wedding photographer charges 750 for a 2hr e-shoot without a wedding package. We got got ours for 350 since we booked him for our wedding. Whatever you decide, you look amazing and keep it up! :)

There's lots of Groupons out there for boudoir shoots. From what I've researched, the price ranges from photog to photog are OUTRAGEOUS! LOL! Some are $300 but some are $2000!!! It's crazy. Some include hair and makeup, some include prints. It's definitely something to fully research. So far I haven't found anyone that's reasonably priced AND I like their work. Still looking into it. I need to feel a little bit better about myself first, but I KNOW this is something I want to do. I don't think FH even knows these things exist, so it will really blow him away!

I didn't do one. I thought about it - I even bought a Groupon for Kesha Lambart a while back but I forgot about the appointment and lost out on the money.

I decided who I'm going to use because she was referred to me by my make-up artist but decided that I'm going to give it to FH after the wedding. We have so much financially that we're responsible for right now that I can't justify spending that money.
