I wanted to get my BM's a necklace that they could wear the day of the wedding but also that they could wear again and again. I ended up getting them a Journey necklace, very similar to this one, and it only cost me $85 each. I think I did pretty good but when I told my mom she was like 'You spent that much on them?' 'Uh...yeah! What do you expect me to do? Get them a $10 giftcard to McDonalds and call it a day?' I only have 4 BM's so it cost me like $380 something for all of them. What do you girls think of the price...honestly. I'll also post the girls dresses.
i love the necklaces i was gonna do the same ones in clear then i found something else lol!!! beautiful!!!!

You think thats more then average? I figured most people spent around $100 (give or take) per BM? I know everyone has their own financial situations but I figured I was about average.

I think everyone is different in what they are spending. It depends on your finances, how many bm's you have, etc. I think anything in the $50 -$100 range is normal.
Also, it is not like the gifts are given with price tags on them...some girls get great deals on really nice things and it doesn't mean their gifts are any less meaningful b/c they saved a few bucks on them. Your bm's will never really know what you spent on their gifts unless you tell them, which would be kind of weird.

I think the necklaces are beatiful, the girls are going to love them!
eta: I spent about 75 per BM, and I bought thank you gifts for the shower which came to about 40 each. Everyone's budget is different, but I don't think you overspent.

I also love the necklace. Question though: Is there a meaning behind the 'Journey' necklace? Just curious. I would also like to get my BMs a necklace but I haven't figured out just what design yet and I was hoping for a meaning to it. I think spending $85 is very generous and very nice of you. Taking care of your BMs is important. They are the ones standing up for you!!!! Good Job!!!
