Bought my dress and am now hating it

I just came back from RK bridal. I was so happy when I was there, fell in love with the dress and decided to put a deposit on it right away. I went home put the style online, and am no longer loving it. It was also online for nearly $100 less than I was told! I called RK bridal and they told me they only do lower price gaurantees at point of purchase. I'm so upset. I want to kick myself for being so impulsive.

Has anyone ever felt this way about their dress after buying it?

Here's the dress, mine is ivory.

i think its a gorgeous dress! honestly i think its normal to second guess your dress, but you picked it for a reason and i'm sure it looks amazing on you!

I think this is perfectly normal. I kind of did the same thing with my dress...I tried it on, loved it and put down a deposit. I had second thoughts but realized that the dress was a perfect fit for me. I decided not to drive myself nuts.

I think your dress is BEAUTIFUL!!! Don't stress!!!

don't feel bad hun...I did the saaame thing...I went to Princess Bridal and fell in love with a dress, wasn't planning on getting a dress yet...but I loved it so I said, why not!? I put down 200 dollars to hold the dress...

I went back, tried the dress on again...and was no longer in love...

so guess what? Im out 200 dollars! The owner said she will hold the 200 in a store credit for me...but who knows if ill ever use it

youre better off losing a few bucks than not being happy with your dress IMO...

the dress is very pretty tho!

its a very beautiful dress. i second guessed my dress for a long time and i decided late to change it and the order already went through. but im gettin a second dress and selling my first. if ur not happy maybe u can cancel the order

That is a beautiful dress. However if you really don't like it maybe you should go see it and try it on one more time. Dress always look so different in person. And if you really don't like see if they will transfer the deposit to a different dress.

Thanks everyone!

RK bridal has a policy where you cannot cancel, return, or exchange your dress. They made me read and sign the contract before I paid for it.

That dress is really amazing. I would get a 2nd (if financially possibly) dress and wear both.

Thanks! I'm starting to feel much better about it. And it probably does look better in person than in the picture. Which is probably why I liked it so much when I tried it on.

Your dress is really nice! I went through the same thing , I was convinced by my mother and salesperson to buy a dress I really didn't love! Unfortunately we put down 400 dollars but as time went by I wanted to change the entire dress. I ended up finding another dress, which gave me ' that lovin feeling' lol. I used the 400 twds my mothers dress! I say if your not in love keep searching until you find the right one!
