So I took my Father to look at a dress I had already tried David's Bridal because he loved the pictures I had taken from my first visit. I also visited 2 other bridal shops, and also loved everything I tried so I really dent this was going to be a difficult decision. BUT I why back to David's Bridal on Friday with him and found my dress from the new Zac Posen line! I really just fell in love with it, even though I hated the model pictures I had seen before the line was released... somehow it was just the one! My father knew I was stressed over all this planning, so instead of looking further and stressing anymore, he said if it's the one, then just get it and cross something off your list , so he bought it for me!! He really is the best father! I was hoping to find my dress elsewhere, but when it's the one. It's THE ONE! I'm THRILLED!

Congrats!! Any pics? I went to David's bridal yesterday and feel in love with a trumpet style dress which I thought would look terrible! But I didn't buy anything yet I have a few more outings and there is one I.have to try on before I make my decision!

I loooove the trumpet style!! I think it's so flattering for every shape! I wanted one that was a little more unique in certain ways, and I somehow found it! Definitely look around more for sure, because otherwise you never know what you may have missed out on! You'll know when you don't want to even bother looking at any dresses!

Thank you Amanda!!! I tried on a size 2, but noticed they ordered a size 4. The size 2 was snug around my bust /ribs, but not anywhere else. I called the shop to find out why this was and decided to stick with the 4, because I'm more afraid of the dress coming in too small than too big. But it really doesn't look big except in the hips, and it was only a little snug (but it's a corset bodice, so shouldn't it be? ). I'm not sure what to do now though, if I should stick with the 2...I mean at least the 4 can be altered to fit perfectly,.... any thoughts? I'm pretty sure I've read on here it's better to size up one size.
