Hey girls, I'm tossed between preserving my bouqet. My friend had hers preserved through foreverinbloomonline.com and it came out beautiful! Its just expensive to do. Any thoughts???

Re: Bouqet Preservation
I preserved by bouquet thru Keepsake Florals. I am actually getting it in the mail today, but I must say that the cost is outrageous. First I put a deposit of $200 down...then had to pay for overnight shipping the day after the wedding. They give you a basic price list, but there are so many other added expenses they don't mention until your phone appt. with them after the wedding to design the arrangement...ie. the nicer frames are more expensive, colored fabric in the frame is more, it costs extra money to 'perk up' the flowers or replace flowers that have dried out too much, stephanotis cannot be preserved (if you want them added its $5 each!!!), and if you want the design to replicate your bouquet that's more money too. Then you still have to pay to get the thing shipped. I initially estimated it costing about $400 with my deposit and it was several hundred more because of the hidden costs ( and I tried to keep the additional costs down).
Hopefully once I see the final result today it will all be worth it. But at this point, I would have never done it because of how incredibly expensive it is.

Re: Bouqet Preservation
NO WAY....
1. I have a million pics of it 2. Where the hell would I put it in my house? 3. I can have a florist duplicate it at any point in time if I really wanted to see it again.

I did mine through Keepsake Floral and it came out amazing. I was very hesitant myself because it was very expensive but in the end I am glad now I did.

Re: Bouqet Preservation
You can actually do it yourself for super cheap. AC Moor and Michaels sell this liquid stuff that you just dip your bouquet in and it preserves it. Then you can buy a shadow box and create your own.
