Not yet. I have quotes from 2 and am speaking to a third florist. The last girl is the most willing to help me get what I want, but it's still hard. After I told her the flowers I like, she sent me a proposal that was way out of my range. When I gave her my budget, she only went with one of the flowers I wanted. I was hoping for 2 or three different flowers, and I was thinking that she would give me some ideas of other flower options that would work more within my budget...guess I was wrong.
I would definitely tell her you want more than one flower, and ask her for options that would fit in your budget. If I remember correctly, you had a decent budget for personals, and I cannot see why anyone wouldn't be able to do what you want - maybe not exact flowers, but the idea of what you want. If you do not ask, you do not get.
I asked. My problem is that I have expensive taste. I like peony's...they are $55 per FLOWER....UGH so I am trying to fins something that has that same 'soft' look....within my budget...and I know nothing about flowers...
WHAT???? $55 per flower?? That's insane. I know they are out of season in October, but that sounds outrageous to me. Did you ask around? Is that the standard price for the area?
