ok so my BMs are going to be wearing light yellow dresses and holding orchids in purple.... do the centerpieces have to also be purple? should the centerpieces coordinate back to the BM dresses and flowers? is this a common sense question that i should already know the answer too???LOL

i think ur centerpieces should tie into ur wedding colors ... normally ur BM's dresses coordinate with the whole theme but its personal preference
my theme is tiffany brown and blue so my BM's dresses will be brown with blue sash ... i am going to try and find blue and brown types of flowers or make my centerpieces more of a natural tone with beiges and natural tones
my other friend did an entire white wedding with white calla lilies and had her girls in aqua blue/green
so i think its a personal preference but i think you want it somehow unifying

I think it helps for the overall look to coordinate.
But if your centerpieces are not typical, then I don't think it matters.
If you doing short, I would definity use same flowers.
If your doing tall, I would just do clear vases, and use a flower or two floating in the vase.

i would like the Cp's to be low and simple- maybe even some candles around them- i guess i could have them be different types of flowers in all shades of yellow, white and purple- would that look pretty? here are some arrangements i like- whatda ladies think?
