did you/are you going to use their uplighting? I'm trying to decide whether its worth it or not... suggestions welcome! TIA!

I am trying to decide the same thing! I didn't want it because I feel like it gives off a club feel but I wanted to maintain the class and elegance of the room. I think I may just do the amber lighting because it's subtle and really accents the architecture of the room well.

Amanda used the pink up lighting. She was really happy with it. Originally, she thought they would use the amber. They went to Bourne late one night after a wedding and Bourne demonstrated the uplighting for them so they could see it at night. That sold them.
I think the dome looks lovely with the uplighting.

thanks everyone!! i really like how the amber uplighting looks.. but still not sure if its worth the extra $ maybe i will check out how it looks with the uplighting in person. if they will let us come and see it then i think that would be great

Re: Bourne Mansion Brides
So the reason I booked Bourne was because I loved how romantic the ballroom was. I wanted to highlight the dance floor, so I designed my own concept and only lite that platform where the band is. I used the amber, but it looked a little purple in pics. I think it added a bit of fun while still letting the unique char act of the room come through
