So I am doing the flowers for the wedding myself and I am trying to estimate how many flowers I need.
For the Grooms boutinnier I was just going to do a white rose with baby's breath, simple.
Then the grooms men were going to have carnations for their bouts.
Dad's were having a single rose bout
what about grandpa's? Can they have a rose too?
I guess the real questions is, do they have to look different or can everyone (Groom, Groomsmen, Dad's and Grandpa's) all have a rose with baby's breath and it not look stupid that they all match?
Honestly, I don't think it's a big deal. What do you think.
TIA.
Please help

I don't think it matters. It is really up to you and what you want. My FH is having a different one but the GM and the Dad's are the same. We don't have any Grandpas so I don't need those.

Re: Boutinniere help please please
I really didn't want colored flowers b/c we are getting married in Fall and it's very common to see the fall colors used and spring colors just wouldn't look right so I went with all white flowers for everything. We are having black bm dresses, the groomsment have black vests and FH has a white vest. I didn't want the harsh black and white theme, the only thing that is black and white is the flowers and the attire. Everything else is just neutrals. do you think it would look weird to have just FH flower to be different color, or should I just stick to white roses for all men.

Carnations for the groomsmen is fine. A Single Rose for Dads Grandpas is great. Im sure it is fine if the Groom has a single rose too. If you are concered about having the Groom be different, why not 2 single roses for the groom? If not, I dont think there is anything wrong with the Groom being the same as the Dads and Grandpas.

I think all the same is fine and will look really nice and uniform in the photos (after all, they are all pretty much wearing the same thing!)
We are doing all one rose for each - but a different color - maybe this will work for you?
Groom will have black magic, groomsmen half red/half white and family will have white.

Re: Boutinniere help please please
The groomsmen and fathers all had the same boutinieres at my wedding- a single white rose bud. My husband had a garden rose to make his different. You could use a different type of flower or a different color. I wanted my husband's to be an open rose and the rest of them to be buds, I'm not sure why that idea didn't work out.

Thank you ladies so much. this had given me ideas. I like the idea of FH being open rose and the rest buds.
